Welcome Back Kucera

Good morning Kucera parents and families,

I would like officially welcome all of you to the 2026-2027 school year. This is a very special year and I am looking forward to the incredible things the Kucera staff and I have planned for your student. This also marks my fifth year as the principal at Kucera and my tenth year in the Rialto Unified School District.

School will start on Wednesday August 5th at 8:00 AM. Students he are dropped off for school or walk will be able to enter campus starting at 7:30 AM. Our first day is a minimum day and dismissal is at 12:35 PM. Back to School Night is the same day and will start at 5:00 PM. If your student is in AVID there will be an additional parent meeting at 4:30 PM prior to when we start at 5:00 PM for everyone.

Attached to this message you will my Welcome Back Letter, the Bell Schedule with our list of minimum days, and the information for Back to School Night. Please take some time to review all of the information with your student.

Reminder that drop off lane in the morning is only the cut-out drive way parallel to West Buena Vista Drive. The parking lot at the front entrance and the parking lot by the MPR are not for student drop off.
